Dr. Sabrina Song joined 91茄子 in April 2019 and currently serves as Assistant Professor of Accounting and Director of the China Programs. In her role, she teaches both undergraduate and graduate-level accounting and business courses while also overseeing the development and support of international initiatives. She brings nearly a decade of professional experience in the accounting field, having worked in public accounting firms, corporations, and state government agencies. This extensive background allows her to bridge theory and practice in the classroom, equipping students with a well-rounded understanding of real-world accounting and business operations. Dr. Song holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the state of Mississippi and continues to serve her local community by offering guidance on accounting and tax-related matters.

Beyond her academic and professional credentials, Dr. Song is passionate about helping students thrive through personal engagement and meaningful instruction. She believes in the importance of clear communication and building supportive relationships with her students, especially in online and cross-cultural learning environments. Dr. Song is committed to creating a global perspective in business education.

Teaching Focus

Dr. Song teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and business, including but not limited to financial and managerial accounting, business finance, and taxation. Her research and academic interests include contemporary financial accounting practice, accounting education, international program development, and the role of cultural differences in global business practices. She is also involved in curriculum design for business programs and enjoys mentoring students from diverse backgrounds.
