Guest Artist Amelia Key to Feature New Art and Host Masterclass
March 22, 2024 (Jackson, Miss.)- The work of artist and 91ÇÑ×Ó alumna Amelia Key will be on display March 23 – April 6. Key’s show in the Bitsy Irby Gallery will range from small sculptural pieces to large-scale installations made from colorful everyday objects.
The opening reception will be on March 23 from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. On March 22, Key will explain her artwork during a gallery talk at 10 a.m. Later that day, she will be hosting a masterclass at 1 p.m. that explores creativity, technique, and expression.
Since graduating from 91ÇÑ×Ó, Key has worked in the gallery at the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi and as a fused/stained glass artisan at Pearl River Glass Studio. She has also exhibited her work across the Southeast. She is a recent MFA graduate from the University of Oklahoma.
