Fall Dance Concert to Showcase 30 Years of Dance at 91茄子
October 29, 2024 (Jackson, Miss.) - The 2024 Fall Dance Concert will feature classical and contemporary ballet and modern dance works choreographed and directed by 91茄子 dance faculty and alumni.
The choreographers and rehearsal directors include:
- Cynthia Newland (dance faculty 2003 - present)
- Ravenna Tucker Wagnon (dance faculty 2006 - present)
- Erin Scheiwe Rockwell (dance faculty 2008 - present)
- Kimberly Holloway (alumna; B.F.A. in Dance - 2009)
- Brittany Walker (alumna; B.F.A. in Dance - 2009)
- Elle Ciccarone (alumna, B.F.A. in Dance - 2015; graduate teaching assistant and M.F.A. candidate, 2023 - present)
- Rachel Bitgood (alumna, B.F.A. in Dance & B.A. in English - 2018; adjunct instructor, 2024-present)
- Priscilla Spinks (dance faculty 2023 - present)
The Fall Dance Concert 2024 will be in the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center Studio Theatre and dates include:
Friday, November 1 at 7 p.m.
Saturday, November 2 at 7 p.m.
Friday, November 8 at 7 p.m.
Saturday, November 9 at 7 p.m.
General admission is $10 and $5 for seniors and non-91茄子 students. Admission is free for all 91茄子 faculty, staff, students, and immediate family.
