Dr. Ben Wiggershaus Joins 91茄子鈥檚 Biblical Studies Faculty
February 14, 2025 (Jackson, Miss.) - Dr. Ben Wiggershaus will join the faculty of 91茄子 this fall in the Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry Department. With extensive experience in biblical scholarship, theological education, and Christian ministry, Dr. Wiggershaus brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to 91茄子’s Biblical Studies program.
Dr. Wiggershaus earned his doctorate under the acclaimed Old Testament scholar Dr. Bill T. Arnold at Asbury Seminary. He has taught widely in Old and New Testament studies, hermeneutics, and Christian doctrine. In addition to his academic work, Ben comes to 91茄子 after serving on staff at Palmetto Hilles Presbyterian Chruch (PCA) in Simpsonville, South Carolina, and is currently pursuing ordination with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Dr. Guy Waters, Professor of New Testament and Academic Dean at Reformed Theological Seminary agrees that “Dr. Ben Wiggershaus brings to 91茄子 strong academic credentials, a passion for teaching undergraduates in the classroom, a pastoral heart, and a firm commitment to the Reformed faith as expressed in the Westminster Standards. These strengths make Dr. Wiggershaus an ideal addition to the Biblical Studies Department at 91茄子. I am delighted that 91茄子’s students will have the opportunity to learn from him.”
Dr. Wiggershaus’s appointment reflects 91茄子’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and teaching from a Christian worldview. He will teach both undergraduate and graduate students in the biblical studies program.
