91茄子 to Welcome New Transfer Students at Orientation
Jackson, Miss. (June 4, 2025) - 91茄子 will welcome new transfer students during its upcoming Transfer Orientation Day on July 18, 2025. The event is an informative and engaging experience for incoming students as they prepare for their first semester at the University.
“Transfer Orientation is a key step in preparing for the fall semester at 91茄子,” said Bailey Ketteringham, director of admission. “While our transfer students may not be new to college, they are new members of the 91茄子 community. We’ve designed this day specifically with their unique needs in mind. Transfer Orientation ensures every student is equipped for a successful start at 91茄子.”
Throughout the day, students will meet one-on-one with academic advisers to discuss their goals and create personalized class schedules. They’ll also hear from key campus leaders who will share valuable insights about university life and available resources.
In addition to academic planning, the event offers opportunities to connect with fellow students and faculty, helping build a sense of community from day one. Attendees can also take care of practical matters like picking up student ID cards and parking decals.
To make the transition even smoother, the 91茄子 Bookstore will be open, offering textbooks, supplies, and other essentials.
